ENTstatistics - Concept

Modular Structure
The ENTstatistics database is constructed in a modular fashion. General functions, such as the administration of patient data, are contained in the Base Module. The specialist modules (e.g. the Ear Module) contain the functions for recording and evaluating discipline-specific data.
The result of this modular structure is that the database can be tailored to customers’ specific needs and can be expanded to include further modules as required.

The following illustration provides an overview of the ENTstatistics modules:

Future-proof database technology
ENTstatistics bases its storage of sensitive data on Microsoft SQL server technology. This is a high-performance system, acknowledged and widely used for medical applications. With ENTstatistics you can be sure that your valuable data will be stored in a system for which maintenance and support are guaranteed for many years.

Dr. Marc Unkelbach, Specialist Registrar, ENT Department Frankfurt Höchst

"All our experience with the ENTstatistics otology database has been positive without exception. It only took a short induction period before all the data on ear operations could be input in the shortest possible time in a user-friendly fashion. The interface communication with our clinic information system (CIS) via HL7, together with the communication with our GDT-GPT linked audiometry systems has been robust and problem-free.

It has also been possible for the end-user to configure the program with the minimum of effort to adapt it to the specific situations and classifications in our clinic – thanks at least in part to the rapid response of the innoForce team."
